바프의 창립 10주년 파티

지난 금요일... 바프의 10주년을 기념하는 행사를 무사히 마쳤다.
그간 10년의 세월을 통해 의미를 둘 수 있는 대상들을 초청하여
그간의 세월을 돌아보며 앞으로의 세월에 대한 새로운 각오를 보여줄 수 있는
'인상적인' 행사가 되기를 원하였으므로 제법 신경쓰이는 일이 많았었는데
무사히, 순조롭게 마칠 수 있어서 여간 다행스러운 게 아니다.
너무 많은 분이 오시게 되면 자리가 비좁을까, 또 손님이 적어 자리가 썰렁할까
그런 걱정에 초청장을 보낸 후 일일이 전화를 드려야 할지 말아야 할지도
무척 고민이 되었는데(결국 전화는 하지 않았다), 정말 너무 많지도 적지도 않은
딱 적당한 숫자의 손님들이 오시게 되어 다행스러운 일이 되었다.

역시, 채수정님의 판소리 공연이 혁혁한 공을 세워 주었고, 게다가 가야금,
해금 등의 연주자 친구분들이 함께 와주셔서 더욱 풍성한 잔치가 되었다.
늦게까지 함께 자리하여 손님들의 흥을 돋구기 위해 '몸'을 던져주신 채수정님의
그 마음이 너무도 감사하였다. 이웃 홍단이네 윤정 실장님의 장고 장단은
어여쁘고도 흥겨웠고, 고맙고도 감사하였다.

우리나라 그래픽 디자인계를 이끌어간다 해도 과언이 아닐 '기라성' 같은
이들- 서기흔.조의환.권혁수.이영희.김주성.김경균.박금준.김두섭.고강철.
김영철.안병학-님께서 무리지어 와주시고 또 함께 즐기며 오래도록 자리를
빛내주시니 그 마음이 감사하고 또 감사하다.

태평양의 권금주.조영지님, 계성제지의 김종길님, 까사미아의 최순희.김혜영님,
한림의 함기만.임송희.이명천님- 모두 모두 고맙고 지극한 클라이언트들이시다.
제일기획의 남상민.홍지왕님, 한국경제의 김문권님, 월간 디자인의 김신님
역시도 고맙기 이를 데 없다.

바프의 오랜 파트너인 문성인쇄의 남궁균.박판열님, 그래픽코리아의 이홍택.
유영길님, 5시 반부터 오셔서 우리를 당황하게 했던 국립현대미술관의 정준모님,
이지미님, 안그라픽스의 이희선님을 통해 축하의 마음을 보내신 안상수 교수님께도,
10년을 변함없이 바프의 꼬장꼬장한 시아버지 역할을 하시는 김영수선생님,
바프의 10주년 행사에도 여전히 '다큐멘터리' 사진기록에 여념이 없으신 김기환님,
랜덤하우스 중앙의 이성구님. 이선아님, 한국월드키친의 정아영님, 홍디자인의
홍성택님, 호서대의 송성재 교수님, 국민대의 이준희 최경란 교수님, 작은 빌딩의
주인장이며 10년지기 친구인 김영일님, 담너머 뒷뜰의 소리재로부터 생음악으로
'소리'를 듣게해주시는 무형문화재 박송희 선생님께도 모두모두 감사의 마음 전한다.

우리들의 영원한 편집장님- 이라고 쓰인 카드로 가슴을 뭉클하게 했던 10년 전
<이브> 잡지의 동료들-김은령.한신정.정용희-은 감회어린 옛일을 다시 떠올리게
하였으며, 전운용 부장님 역시 반갑고도 반가운 오랫만의 만남이었다.

마지막까지 함께 하며 도우미 역할에 지침이 없으셨던 비움의 미희님, 혜진님,
은병수님께도 무어라 감사할지 알 수 없으며, 다시 찾아준 바프의 옛 식구들-
상용,성혜, 수현, 선희, 정우-에게도 감사한다.

나에게 건강한 몸과 재능을 주신 부모님께 감사하며, 언제나 한 몸과 마음인 바프의
식구들- 이사님과 양희, 재중.연중 두 팀장, 용석과 여형, 종수와 형남 들에게
무엇보다도 감사한다. 지금까지의 10년처럼 앞으로의 10년도 이곳에서 건강히 함께
저마다의 꿈을 펼칠 수 있기를 진심으로 바란다...
