쉬어주어야만 하는 날, 휴일

여유있게 늦잠을 자고 난 아침, 오늘은 토요일이다.
하지만 어제 다 해결을 다 못 본 한 가지 작업이 남아 오전 시간 두시간 정도를 투자하여
화일을 웹하드에 올려놓고 그래픽코리아에 전화를 해두고 나니 딱 12시가 되었다.
어젯 밤. 오늘 북경으로 먼저 떠나는 여형과 함께 이런저런 사항들을 체크하고
가져가야 할 물건들을 요령있게 꾸리고 함께 사무실을 나섰던 시각이 12시.
아침 7시까지 공항에 잘 도착했는지 문득 궁금하여 전화를 하려고 보니
벌서 북경에 도착하고도 남았을 시각이다.
흠.. 이제부턴 내가 보고 판단할 수 있는 일이 아니니 모든 것은 그의 일이다.
그에게 맡길 뿐이고, 다 되어질대로 되어질 일인 것이다.

그러나 저러나, 몸 상태가 썩 좋질 않아 오늘은 가급적 몸을 쉬게 해주는 쪽으로
하루를 보내는 것이 좋을 듯 하다. 화요일 북경 출장을 앞두고 무엇보다도 가장 큰
준비는 건강한 몸과 마음의 상태일 것이니, 휴일은 휴일답게, 몸을 쉬게 해주자.
하지만, 오늘은 다른 휴일처럼 전화기를 꺼놓을 수는 없을 듯 하다...
(아니나 다를까, 오후 6시 북경의 전시사무국으로부터 두차례 급한 문의 전화가 왔다.
그 편을 통해 여형이 무사히 도착했다는 것도 물론 확인할 수 있었다.)
